Im looking to buy a light setup and i found something but im not sure if i need a ballast or if i can just plug this into a reg socket and be good to go. Its an auction and all the info i have on it is its 400w and heres a pic. thanks for any help in advance.
Yes you do need a ballast. It looks to me that you need a Sunsystems ballast but for $7 there is an adapter plug. If yo are not that sure about lights I would wait to buy a complete light system (with ballast). You can find some good deals at www.stealitback.com. Good luck
Thats where i found this one. so i can buy a $7 plug adaptor and it will plug into a reg wall socket and work?
