I have seen a film almost white hairy texture all over the top of my soil after i water. Its not very abundant but its still somewhat noticeable. There is also a few like algae green deposits in small amounts in 1 out of 7 of my girls on top of soil.. this is my first grow and learning allot from minor mistakes.. Its so funny how i have already fucked so many things up and there only 1 month old lol...
get a magnifier.. the film might be worms of a sort, i believe this is normal... going to be bugs soon... get some hot shot pest strips from lowes and put them at the base of your plant the green growth is normal...... its light thats turning the soil green when its wet

Can i put a layer of Vermiculite about 1/2 inch on top of my soil? Is there any down side to doing this? and can the dust that comes off the vermiculite harmful for my plants?
