Update About Advertising on Grasscity Important: A New Chapter for Grasscity

Need some help boys!

    This is my first post here, although I have been reading many. My next door neighbour was growing 20 plants in his basement, and i had 5 mowie wowie clones under a large hydroponic light (not sure what kind). Unfortunately his place got heated out and he moved his 20 plants so im stuck high and dry iwth my 5 clones at my house. I have no light at all. I need to know what is the cheapest light i can but and what kind? and where i could buy it could help me a lot. THanks boys i hope someone answers me cause im desperate for these to survive. They are soo healthy....
    alright, it seems like everyone loves the pictures around here so when i get home later tonight ill post some pics of my plants, then hopefully someone will sympathize... plus im poor so im hoping to find a cheap way to grow my plants.... thanks

    u can buy fluorescents for cheap as long as they are over 200 watt, have a look on ebay!

    Cheapest route for you, hardware wise and electricity wise is to buy 4 or 5 (2) bulb flourescent shop lights, they are 4 ft long and hold 2 40watt bulbs
    mount them next to eachother and hang from string/rope so its adjusttable and put the 5 plants in a row under them with the lights as close as possible.

    Make sure you use Daylight Bulbs and when it comes time to flower them switch out one bulb of each of the fixtures to a cool white bulb.

    The shop lights should cost you no more than 20 bucks each, so you should spend no more than 100 bucks and they will work great.

    thanks for the info bro, where do u think my best bet to pick up this stuff would be? do i buy the bulbs and and shop lights seperately? sorry for the nooby questions this is my first time purchasing anything like this

    Also, 100 bucks is EXACTIALLY what i want to spend! so im hoping i can get the lights and lamp or what not for around that..

    OKAY i found the lights at home depot for 20 bucks a peice... i was wondering, how many watts do flaurescent lights have to be to grow?
