My room mate got busted for possession of pot in the dorms of our college. Now this student council or something wants to question all of us. I'm wondering if there are any laws in California regarding taking a passive action to knowing about possession. Our resident advisors told us that we may all get into some trouble since we didn't report it. What are you guys take on this?
Well since they're gonna hook you up to a lie detector I guess you've gotta tell them the truth...bummer man.
just hope they dont stick you with sodium pentathol or something. that would suck. but really, there is no law about it because they are a school and they have rules of their own about drug use and the people that guy lived around and so they can ask you a bunch of questions all they want, but you dont have to answer, or if you do, you can lie and they still cant do anything about it, cuz they cant prove that you knew anything about it. unless they have you on camera with him and he was smoking and you werent. or if you were then you are fucked too, but chances are they dont or they would have gotten you already. so dont sweat it.
Plead the fifth. They cant do anything after that without a warrent. Also request to have your lawyer present. Also I highly doubt they will do shit for you not reporting it.
