Need Nutrient Help

Discussion in 'Advanced Growing Techniques' started by Ewilli06, Nov 18, 2008.

  1. can any one recommend a specific nutrient type and brand to use for hydroponics using a buble bucket. Should i use different sollutions for growth stages and flowering? and i have looked around but no one can give me a strait # to keep ppm at.

Any insight would be a great help, as i am new to growing!

  2. I know Fox Farm has a PDF on their website with the PPM info and whatnot
in their feeding schedule. You can see it here:

I dont know about using their fert for hydro, I dont do hydro personally, but i'm
sure someone here does. And take a look at the websites for the other big hydro
fert producers.. advanced nutrients, botanicare, etc. I'm sure they all had the
same kind of feeding schedule with the relevant info on them.

  3. It should state on the bottle. But, in general, you will probably want to run your plants while in vegetation around 600 PPM, Your very young ones perhaps 3-400, while your mothers perhaps 800 PPM. Then in the flowering I start them up at 800 and gradually bring them up to 1200, then during the last 2 weeks, I just add water.
