hello if your reading this then maybe you can help me i basically need to know the 101 on micro growing i am using two 75 watt cfls, i am in "step 2" my "babies" are just about to have 2 sets of leaves but i wanna know what i can do to keep my grow micro i have the light about 1/2 inch away from my plants is this to close ? i wont post pics because i am nervous about posting things like that online, but any additional information is useful. thanks
Look up some of the guides here. Keep the lights close, you can use LST or topping to keep it shorter, if you use a photoperiod strain then you can adjust light timer when you want the plant to flower.
i am going through the micro grow section right now, and i cant find any good info on starting just on ph and problems, i am just looking for the basic guidelines for micro grows
How micro are u talking like PC case or built box. LST or topping or short veg time will be what u need. Just make sure u don't burn your seedlings.
how short of veg time are you talking like 18/6 ? or are you a like day period not lighting cuz i red some where that 24/0 was my best light schedule and thats is what im doing right now is 24/0

LST them.... the lights don't get very hot, so the distance above the babies should be fine, maybe even higher to cover more. Just keep an eye on them to make sure they don't get to warm. You can add as many CFL's as you want. You LST until everything looks "filled in" then switch the light schedule to 12/12. I recommend 24/0 for veg with CFL's. Hope it helps a bit
idk i got them from worldwidemarijuanaseeds.com it said that X was a af but idk what a af is,
af might mean autoflower.
yeah i went to the web site and it said auto flower but what exalty is that ?
If I'm correct, it will start flowering no matter with light schedule u have it on. I believe those are great for micro grows but I believe I've read u shouldn't top them. If I'm wrong someone please correct me.
If they are autoflowering then there will be no need to change the light cycle you can just keep them on 20/4 or 16/8 which for autoflowers that seems to be the best
