  1. i suffer from headaches and social anxiety, i live in the southeastern part of the united states and have to get my medicine in anything but comfortable area of where i live. my mom has a resident in california and i was wondering if i could go to cali and get a medical marijuana card orwhat would i need to do? any info would be greatly appreciated.

  2. You have to be a California resident to get a MMJ card in California. You need to bring proof that you, not a relative, are a California resident in order to qualify. Why not try to acquire a recommendation in your home state?

  3. can i get a doctor here to recommend me to medical marijuana and have a doctor in Cali look into it? what all would i have to do to be considered a resident of Cali. if I was to move there?

  4. Even if you did get a cali doctor to recommend you, there arn't any dispenceries in your state and cops would probably just rip up your rec. Sorry bro, you gotta move

  5. What is the process of getting a recommendation? Simple or do I need insurance info, medical records, etc.? Can I just walk in talk to the doc about what's wrong and he'll hook me up? And then if you get a recommendation who knows just the doctor office? Also I heard some dispensaries have a physician on hand that will give you a rec. Is this true?

  6. You need to have seen a "regular" doctor about your problems.

You need a copy of your medical records (one or two years is fine) that discusses your medical problems.

You need California picture ID (Driver's license, CA ID Card).

You need the cash to pay for the rec. ($50 - $250)

Your insurance will not cover anything having to do with cannabis in most cases. (Beware of folks who say they can get your insurer to pay for your cannabis. From what I hear, it is fraud.)
