Title says it all, i'm in a bit of a stand still deciding how I want/can fill my 5 gallon bucket up without disturbing my plants in the net.
Use a resivor bucket and a pump to pump water from one bucket into the one with plants in it. Unplug the pump when its full to where you want it.
You could use a empty bucket for mixing your nutrients into. You could install a drain on this bucket and connect a fitting which could connect to a hose that would go to a inline pump, on the other end of the inline pump there's an attatchment that you could connect a hose to. Pick up the end of the hose. You could fill directly through your medium. If you install the fill port on the side of your bucket or top of it's lid you could fill with that.
just cut a hole in the side, dump water/nutes in. plug with a cork or something. put the hole at the top. idk
you don't even need a pump if you don't want. Got to an auto shop or pet store and get a hand pump siphon. I think they even have them at big super stores like walmart. Go and find some crates outside of a party store, they are everywhere. Put the one bucket on top of 2 stacked crates fill with the solution you want and put one end of the hose into the bucket under the net one end of the hose in the bucket on the crates a few squeezes from the hand pump and bam. You got your nute water flowing into your scorged bucket. Or you can build a base of pvc in the bottom of your bucket. Drill 2 holes in the lid. Have the pvc taper outward and form a bigger square and make your net there. (hard to understand I know look it up in grow journals.) Or you could get a small water pump like everyone else said. Which will not get as much water as the siphon but might be a tad bit less difficult but could also cause more clutter with cords and what not. Or you could do the easies option and just drill some hooks in the bottom your lid and low stress treat your plant and get similar results for like 75% less work imo. I did lst however I do do Scorg now but I think that beginners should do LST imo because you will probably end up having a whole lot of other shit to worry about during the process the last think you need is this annoying screen in your way... If you have problems that screen will be a thorn in the side of your ass. I would do a LST and wait on the Scorg till you have a few grows under your belt..
