  6. Sure wherever you wanna cut is fine,. You did a good job to leave the extra bit of stem. What was your reasoning for topping?

  7. A lot of people said i should top my plant for more yield and lower plant leafs were to small so i though if i top it lower leafs gets more sunlight.

  8. Well
You top a plant to make it bushier more or less. I top all mine.

  9. The lower area there should put out branches with bud sites. Topping helps this along, nothing to do with leaves.

  12. Well let me share a little with you. You topped just fine but I would have cut more off personally or. Now you know for next time cut sooner. So you know, you can cut the main stem anywhere so the so the 2 branches growing at that spot slow down growth to recover, all growth from lower points on the main stem will catch up and give you an even canopy with all the nugs getting the same amount of light. I have not had a plant that tall yet but I would think it is going to fall over because it is so top heavy.

  13. I pretty much quite topping unless I'm purposely trying to slow a plant down.

If you try supercropping or low stress training with no topping at all you'll be blown away with how much faster the plant grows when you don't cut healthy tops off and you just let it do it's thing with some guidance as to it's shape.

You don't need to top to get many colas on a plant. If you bend over the main stem tops come out of every where on the plant and work their way to the top canopy. You'll have to remove many instead of topping to create tops which creates a delay period of plant recovery that's much longer then the recovery from simple bending.
