I am wanting to start growing cuz I am getting tired of paying $180 for an oz. I am expecting $500 soon and I was wondering if that was enough to to start growing 1-2 plants? I think I'm going to get some Northern Lights from online. I am probably going to put it in my closet with lights and everything else. Also can I just put the plant in a big pot at first so I don't have to move it from pot to pot? Thanks EDT I don't mind spending the whole $500 if it will get me more. And I would want a hydro system but aren't they a lot more expensive than $500?

If your a first time grower I would reccomend starting out with soil. In hydro if you run into a problem it can hit fast, in soil you have more time to correct the problem.

Check out my grow.....i got a dwc n its my first ever grow...i wood do some research first...like he said problems hit fast...read up on (yodas) budslingers rdwc buckets....with the water n nutes recirculating swings are not as quick...read up bfore u buy anything n take everything in ur enviroment into consideration...i order from htgsupply all the time...very fast and discrect shipping...i ordered a tent and lights n ballast n filter n fan from them as well as a bubble bucket set up....i ordered stuff and decided I had to change things down the line...a waste of money by lack of researching on my part...tat set up is fine but tat inline duct fan might not b enuff if u live in a hot area wit out an ac...i ended up buying an air cooled enclosed reflector...rule of thumb is 50-100 watts per plant or one plant per sq foot...in tat size tent I wood scrogg...a week or two of heavy reading and research will save time money n yeild results tat u wood b satisfied with...will u have extra cash for nutes in hydro after tat $500? N u need to factor in meters n wat not...srry if im babbling n didnt give u an answer u were looking for
