I'm looking to buy a downstem and ashcatcher for my bong which has an 18.8 mm joint. Should I be buying a downstem with a joint size of 18.8>14.5 or 14.5>18.8 mm to go with an ashcatcher that has a joint size of 14.5 mm? Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question.
Well the part that goes into the hole in the bong needs to be 18.8 and the hole you stick the bowl/catcher needs to be 14.5
