alright kept looking through the forum and cant find a spot for this. i was wondering if you guys could help me understand the main topic question i dont know if its because im tired but it doesnt make sense to meh. cant google it either since it doesnt come up lol. main topic question "realistic people create realistic environments. understanding this, what is the significance of being practical and mechanical? in your opinion, why is it important to be good at working with tools, mechanical, or electrical drawings, machines or animals? alright i've got everything i need to compose the essay for a career as a firefighter but then i reread the assignment and saw i completely ignored the main topic. could anyone help me understand this? i edited this because this thread popped up on google when i was skimming for info and examples. wouldnt want the people knowing my identity online
Holy shit I just read that 50 times in order to process that. ADD. Anyway dude, I'm not sure what this means: in your opinion, why is it important to be good at working with tools, mechanical, or electrical drawings, machines or animals? Does this mean: why is it important to be good at working with tools -or- mechanical or electrical drawings - or - machines - or - animals?Seems like the main question is what is the significance of being practical and mechanical in terms of being a firefighter. What does it mean to be practical, and how does that apply to being a good firefighter. I suppose a firehouse has to function like a well oiled machine, everyone working in unison, etc etc...... Hope this helps.
hm..i forgot i have ADD.. that could be another reason it didnt click for me lol.. thanks i think they worded it wierdly (guessing so it cant be easily googled xD) so its gotten me stuck haha
I guess, for example, you could pick "why is it important to work with tools" and describe that a firefighter needs to be able to fix up the firehouse, fix up the equipment, fix up the truck, use axes, hoses, dealing with water pressure, etc.... If all this helps you have to hook me up with a college girl. Deal?
I believe it's mainly asking, "Why is it important to be good at working with tools, mechanical, or electrical drawings, machines or animals?," in your opinion; although at the same time applying how thinking realistically applies to this concept. A firefighter must think very rationally and realistically, especially when dealing with what they see everyday. For example: A firefighter is called to a fire and doesn't use the tools and such that he is given to stop the fire to their full capability, therefore the fire has bad outcomes.(Possibly people died in the fire, or the fire grew larger because of not being handled as best as it could have been) After this, the irrational firefighter may blame himself and feel extreme guilt, but the rational firefighter would realize that he did the best of his ability and could not help the outcome and learn from the experience.
