Basically I made a huge mistake and bought un buffered and unrinsed coco. I buffered using cal mag but didn't remove and of the salts. My plants have been going 2 weeks and look like its been 3 - 4 days. What is the easiest solution to try and fix this. Should I just flush my cups with with P.H'd water till I'm getting around 5.8 because at the moment the runoff is around 6.5 and will this remove the cal mag I added. Once flushed should I add nutrients straight away or let the medium try a little. Cheers Ryan
Do you have pics of your plants? I read for flush to do 2-3 times the volume of your container. I didn't correctly pH my coco before planting my germinated seedlings (expanded with regular tap water) but did a semi-flush with pH corrected water and CalMag, so far things seem to be going ok
