need help with a light choice

    Hey everyone i need help with a light to choose for my first grow. I have a low budget like a hundred. What would be the best lighting for a single auto plant im growing

    you might be able to find a use craigslist light. most of the cheaper ones are right around 130ish.

    Assuming your budget allowed for ventilation you should be able to find new 150 for sure and probably even 250 watt hps for under $100 and in my limited experience that'd be awesome for a single auto or two even

    Thanks everyone. Yall have been a big help i was wondering if you guys thought a 2ft 4 bulb t-5 system would work good supplemented with a couple 2700k cfls

    the real question you should answer to the group is what size is your grow space because that will determine the possibilties of your lights

    Well like i said at the beginning i just need the best lighting for a single plant and around a hundred dollars. My grow space is more than big enough for a lot more.

    I've found good LEDs for 75. In a growers shop (not weed normal plants ) they grew several plants with similar set ups except one had metal halide the other had LED no difference in the plants. It'll save you energy, and not overheat.

    You could always order a 125 watt clf off of amazon for 50

    Im probably really just gonna spend the money and get a 2ft 4 bulb t-5 with mixed bulbs and maybe a homemade led panel just for shits and giggles

    Idk if im going to or not im just doing this as a means of spending less money in the end. Even if i can yield 1/3 for the plants max this first time i will be content

    I feel you, I enjoy gardening but I always thought the best plant would be one you could care for and in return it would give you presents. :) my mini rose bushes presents are nice, but nothing beats the gift of getting high. :)

    i got mine from worldwide marijuana seeds and i just recived them two days before x-mas so no harvest but awesome present for me lol
