  1. Ok so im trying to run a compleatly stealth cab grow.
I was haveing some problems with light leaks at first
so i went to home depo and grabed some window seal
rubber molding. Now my light leaks are gone but im afraid
its getting to hot in there. Any ideas?
Also i do have a fan in the cab :(

  2. You're going to need to vent the box to get rid of the heat. A sealed enclosure will heat up fast even with just flourescents and a fan inside. At Lowes(probably home depot too), in the ducting section, they have this bendable duct tube that stretches up to 8 feet. It bends really easy and stays in place. The will allow the box to vent while also keeping it light tight. Check out mine in the picture.

  3. Spray paint the inside black so it doesn't reflect, and if your box still isn't cooling down enough, get an inline fan and attach it like I did. Then you will definitely see temps drop.

  4. I'm just a newb at growing, but isn't that an extremely bad idea ? You want the inside of a growbox to be reflective (mylar or white paint etc.), not black. Otherwise, what's the point of growing bud ? He might as well get rid of all his lights, that'll keep the temps down.
    :D

I'd add some intake/outtake holes (exhaust fan) on the box if it's too hot, but I certainly wouldn't paint the inside black. Were you joking maybe ?

  5. lol the inside of the tube not your box
