my plant i think has nitrogen dificiency idk tho the plant is about a month old its about 4 in tall the bottom leaves turned yellow and died the stem has purple on it and the top leafs are perfectly green but sag down i transplanted it 3 days ago with no improvement except at night when the leaves on the top tend to lift up then sag again in the day. im using miricle grow soil 6.0 ph could i get some tips on some easy ways to fix this please
PH is too low 6.5-6.8 is optimum but your problem is your soil , you need to transplant ASAP to soil that contains to fertilizer
key word: MIRACLE GROW...theres your problem...IMO get some organic soil...and dont forget no time release nutes!! good luck
well i transplanted the plant to a mix of 3/4 peat moss soil and 1/4 mg without timerelease would that work till i can find the soil u recomended
Peat moss holds a lot of water and can mess with pH. Check that pH often. MG Soil is terrible, especially time release. Just get some generic professional potting soil without any nutes at your local nursery and transplant to that.
