  1. ok this is my second time growing..... first grow was pretty successful but not im having issues.... i planted 2 seeds.... one ppp the other ak -47 anyways the ak has been sprouted out of the dirt for about a week now and all the sudden two days ago it began to shrivel up like this...sorry for the shitty pic any help would be great

set up is in a grow box... its 74 degrees is in.....the pods i had them in were organic soil with peralite added to it... last night i planted them in 3 gal buckets with miracle grow organic soil (only thing they had without nuts) im also using 2 100w CFL on each plant (but i have turned off the ak lights for a few hours) the ppp looks great coming in good and the ak is shit

  2. p.s. sorry about the shitty pic quality but you can get the idea from just looking at that..... also lights are at least 3in away from plant

  3. IMO most sprouts die from either over watering or drying out. Overwatering will usually cause them to just flop over, called damping off, caused by fungus. Drying out will cause the plant to shrivel up. Your appears to be the later. Did you water it when it started to shrivel or was the soil already wet?

  4. it was watered as soon as it was noticed and it didnt improve.... then a day later it was planted in the bucket and water again because the soil was pretty dry all around. i just checked it now and the soil feels pretty moist...

Do you think it could be from root constriction from maybe having it in the pod to long(however i used the same pods on my first grow and both plants came out well)? like should i make sure the root is pushing through the pod

  5. IMO sounds like they dried out or damped off. Sounds like you may have watered it to late or to much.
