Ok so my girls are 18 days old. 2 plants. 5 gal pots. 6 6500k 30 watt. 4 2700k 30 watt. 1 68 watt 2700 (dumb big looks retarded). First nute bath today. fox farm gow big. I hurried to the store because the older leaves were spotting brows slowly but surely. Otherwise very healthy plants. I also got tiger bloom for flower. But what causes the brown. rust sort of spots? should the nute bath help. Sorry bout crappy pics cell phone. I water once ever other day. No ph scale yet.. next week ill have it though. The seeds are from a friends dads "30 some odd year genetic strain" or so i was told. but wondering what it looks like to you sativa/indica mix? thanks in advance grass city you guys make peoples dreams come true

So its only been like 10 hours since there first nute bath and there already looking better!!! But i have a question... if i take a cutting from both my plants and put them strait to flower ow long will it take to flower... and will that for sure reveal the sex of the plant i took it from? thanks in advance.
i think u should wait a little longer to take cuttings, not to say you cant but i dont think you really should.
Once the plant has reached sufficiant maturity to flower it should take 5-7 days to see preflowers under 12/12. A very young plant or clone from a very young plant will take longer as the plant will not show sex until it is mature enough to do so. Yes it will show you the sex of the parent. It's geneticly identicle. What I do when I use seeds is cut clones and put a piece of tape on the pot with a number and a corresponding number on the parent so I dont get them mixed up. Stoners can forget things ya know?
Tank you. I was planning on waiting a little longer before I mess with cuttings. The plants have really perked up since the first bath. Could they have sucked my dirt dry of nutes already or was there just not sufficient nutes in the soil. Im gonna take cutting probly in a week... then wait and flower them... by that time will my plants be ready to flower. there 19 days today. Posting new pics. One plant was topped and is curently fighting to bust out every wich way. But shes on some training. l her branches have outgrew the main stalk. And my baby girl, whose name is Mrs Vancouver Blue, is really growing rapidly but staying nice and short (Lights are close) 1 inch. Really need a mentor. Thanks for looking. Any help appreciated. The puppy is my Garden Guard, not really. His name is Al Capone and he thinks hes a big scary bear. He thinks the plants are his too. Thanks kenny888 hes my little baby. So i got new pics the plants are 20 days and counting. One is sort of just experimental its the more indica looking one thats been topped. It accidently got the top snapped so i just cut it off. pretty cool that there is two stalk now. also had to start training two branches away because they shot up from the extra light when i cut the top and sure enough they coverd the top. i do have a slight problem also gnats. not many but im afraid it will progress. can neem oil mess with your plant even if used right? thanks. also any criticism advice is welcome. tell me what you think
Neem IMO works great! i use it and so do many others. gnats probably arent much of a worry but you wouldnt want gnats or much of anything else getting into what youll be smoking so yes, use a spray bottle w/ a little neem in it and spray generously over the leaves and stem. I stay away from using ANY sprays once flowering is induced/budz start showing up.
so unfortuanatly the more indica one was a male. we let them go for 30 days and then flowered. they were on day 42 12 day of flower when the indica showed his multiple balls. but sure enough the next day my other baby started popping hairs everywhere But when i grabbed the stem of the male to rip it out the entire 5 gal pot of dirt came up with it. i noticed that it had (grabbed) all the dirt. so i figure the girl did as well. do the roots grow much during flowering? do i need to transplant my girl? There 5 gal pots already i only vegged for 30 day. what should i do? any help appreciated.... pics in a couple hours thanks gc you have sucsesfully got me to my first signs of a indoor female plant i love you guys.
Ohio State FTW! Congrats on the girlie girl too. Depending on height constraints you could switch the lights to 12/12 now if you wanted too. And i'm sure the roots will fill up the 5 gal bucket nicely. I have two that are finishing up right now; that I had placed in 5 gal bucket when I started 12/12 and they aren't show any signs of root boundness. They were a month and half old/ 18" high when I switched the lights. So as far as container size, not sure I would worry about it too much... But you can always go larger if you have the space.
No lovin from gc Well I love you guys. Anyway I'm gonna update i was wrong on my girls age she is actually 41 days old today and and day 13 in 12/12. I thought we flowered at 30 but it really was 28. When I say we I am referring to my wife and I. I will be posting pics today but her lights don't go on till 12. Was 11 but i switched the timers up during daylight savings to not mess with me later on. Anyway she has been fed grow big up until flower started 1/4 strength and made way to 1/2 strength every other feeding. She doesn't care for much more. She has had two feedings with tiger bloom since the time switch 1/2 strength. The last feeding had a little grow big because I was sure she was asking for it. She has white pistols everywhere although pics may not show ANyway hope I get some advice, feedback, chat, somethin.
