hey i was just watching heroes on my ps3 when the sound cut out, ive tryed a different HDMI cable, different HDMI input on my tv, ive tryed hooking up my laptop but same thing picture but no sound, my t.v has sound if im just watching cable so its not the speakers, could both HDMI inputs have blown?

I have a samsung and for some reasons when im watching cable, and i switch to hdmi my sound also cuts out, just turn the tv off then back on, when its on your HDMI setting. Its weird but it fixes my prob.
The same thing happens to me with a vizio tv. I just turn mine off and then back on again that seems to fix it
