Need help making tincture from concentrate

    How many grams of concentrate to how many liters.

    For example, the shatter I have is 70%. And I want to make 900 ML of tincture.

    1 Liter of Ever clear
    How many grams of concentrate do I use for extreme potency

    Basically I want to make individual bottles of tinctures. 20 mL bottles with 200 mf of THC
    I am making one big batch of 900 mL , 1 Liter basically.
    How many grams of oil do I use

    12.8571428571 grams

    70% shatter = 700mg of THC per gram
    900ml ÷ 20ml is 45 bottles.
    45 bottles x 200mg = 9,000 mg needed
    9,000 mg ÷ 700mg per gram = just under 13mg of shatter needed.

    That is perfect, so easy to read when it is laid out like that for you. I appreciate the help. I just got a magic butter machine. Going to mix the 13 grams of oil with the Liter of ever clear on the low setting for an hour.

    Check to be sure your Shatter is decarbed or not first as it'll need to be.
    240 F for 40 minutes. With Concentrates it can take a bit longer if it's still bubbling.

    I'd likely do a small test batch first to be sure the system worked as planned. A single gram of shatter and 3 or 4 20ml bottles.

    I know when I make Tincture from Bud or Kief I fast wash as cold as possible but I don't work with shatter except to dab it. LOL :) so a warm ethanol infusion is a bit outside my knowledge base.
