Need help identifying causes for leaves with white spots and "rotting edges"

Discussion in 'Sick Plants and Problems' started by shtaklord, Feb 9, 2021.

  1. Hello guys , im a new grower and ive recently moved the plants to a tent.
Currently all the plants are in one big pot but I plan to seperate them when I get some new pots , (hopefully without issues).
The leaves started to show some white spot and some leaves have a rotten edge to them , (maybe mold , or not enough nutrients).
I dont know what causes this and I need your help in treating them.
    Thank you. 20210208_130227.jpg 20210208_130219.jpg 20210208_130210.jpg 20210208_125959.jpg 20210208_125754.jpg 20210208_125615.jpg 20210208_125559.jpg

Until someone else gets in here I'll give you a couple of pointers. Try not to get liquid on your leaves with the lights on. When you transplant make sure you're adding about 30% perlite to your soil to improve the drainage.

Those brown edges may be due to excess nutrients or cal mag deficiency. I can't tell which. I'm hopeful the next guy in here will give you definite on that.

It's probably getting close to time to start feeding and I suggest you start off with 1/4 of the recommended amount. They look pretty good so far.

If that's coco and not soil disregard everything I've said I know nothing about coco.

  3. Thanks dude , I did spray water on them and the light was probably too close.
Im using soil so ill take that into account.

  4. always watch with spraying anything on the leave when the lights are on. are you running a humidifier next to these plants at all?

  5. Not right now but I plan to get one soon.

  6. gotcha, just watch out for hard water in a humidifier, it'll leave a calcium powder element that I almost mistook for white powdery mildew

  7. Np thanks.
