Need help help with plants in flower

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by Cazi, Sep 21, 2020.

  1. Hey guys, im not sure whats wrong at the moment with my plants. They are 14 days since 12/12 today. They are fed 3 times a day by a pump/timer at 800ppm, (coco, perlite, clayball mix) the ph is 5.8.
    They are in a 1.2m x 2.4m tent
    1x 480w QB, 1x 240w QB(on low), 1 600w hps

I suspect light burning so i have raised the lights and its not on every top node but i'm not sure as i havnt seen this before. Any help would be much appreciated. 20200921_160651.jpg 20200921_160709.jpg

  3. It looks like a pH issue.

  4. Looks like a PH/lockout issue to me. I would check your runoff and see if you are rolling with a bunch of extra dissolved solids, which will push your pH down and/or cause them to lock out nutrients. Looks like at least some K deficiency showing on some of your leaf edges and sounds like you are giving them plenty of K.

  5. I check the ph multiple times a day and it sits between 5.8-6.1, ill adjust it back to 5.8 daily. Wilst the plants are off for 12 hours they dont get fed. Should i set the timer to feed it once or twice whilst plants are off also to maintain oxygen to the roots?
I can see i have some sort of deficiency starting not sure what tho and wasnt sure if thats whats affecting the flowers.

  6. I would not feed them more. My ladies are in a similar media and setup and get one feeding daily at around 700. Nothing wrong with multiple feeds in coco. Helps keep ph stable, but if they are not taking everything up, nutes can accumulate fast. What is the ppm of your runoff? It shouldn’t be much higher than what you are putting in. If it is higher, I would flush til it’s not. Ladies lookin pretty good. Cheers.

  7. Ive given them a good flush with 1/4 strength a and b. Refilled the res up and nuits are now at 800ppm. (Taken out terpene gold nutrient) droped my res temp to 19° celsius and checked run off was 6.1 so ive dropped my res to 5.5ph to get 5.8 run off. Hopeing i can get ontop of it before it effects my flowers.
Would appreciate anymore input as to what i can do to help.

  8. Flushing in your situation mean flushing with pH water only, no nutrient.
Your remedy will be faster if you flush with out nutrient. After your run off readings are back to normal then feeding will be appropriate.
    Good luck.
