  1. 1. I bought a sharper image "plantarium garden lab", its a container with gel on the bottom, you put the seed in it and watch it grow. [IMG]
Well i did that with some bud seeds, and now one of them has grown to the top of the container.

iam worried that this might be bad for the plant, that is still growing. the instructions say when the plant reaches the top, its time to transplant it, but that was for the tomatoe seeds that they give you in the box.

Its only been atwo weeks since i planted them, the plant is 4" long from the bottom of the roots to the top.

CAN ANYONE HELP ME? DO I KEEP IT IN THERE?
    DO I TRANSPLANT IT?
OR SHOULD I JUST POP OPEN THE TOP AND LET IT GROW PAST THE LID AND KEEP IT IN THE GEL? (I THINK MOLD GROWS IF I DO?)

    HERES MORE PICS

  2. lmao

    and again...

thats a funny ass lookin plant... read the stickies around here and get a few new seeds and start over...

  3. Youll for sure have to get it outta there. The roots need to grow. Put em in some soil just soil with no added nutes.

  4. also lmao!~

  5. sorry to sound harsh but that is a total waste of time and money ,if u really want to grow some mj your gonna have to do lots n lots of reading ,spend some cash and commit time and care to it ,it doesent have to cost the earth but your gonna have to spend lots of time reading up everything ,all the info you need is on this one site and theres hundreds more sites you could read to. good luck

  6. The container i put my seed in is just for the first steps of growing a plant, its not ment house the plant forever. It was just for the sprouting of the plant, the kit says when the plant gets big enough you transplant it.
My question or concern was if it was too soon to transplant my plant, its only two weeks old and i dont wanna stress it by doing something dumb.
I already poped the top of the container off and letting the plant grow from there.

  7. lol that is funny for sure... anyway you could probably bury most of that stem and the roots in dirt and see what happens... could be salvaged. :)

  8. at 2 wks old it should of grown a decent root system and quite a few leaves ,the only thing id do with that is get it out of that gel stuff and put it in some soil and bury that huge stem ,it might survive i dont know ,but get it out of that stuff asap

  9. Put it this way man....The reason why everyone thinks this is funny is because you spent what looks like a pretty penny on something that has absolutely no use in growing mj. At 2 weeks old, your plant should be on at least its second or third set of leaves and should be about 1/3 the height yours is now. You could have literally grown a better plant with sand and a 40w incadescent light bulb. You need to read, read, read, read and when youre done reading, read somemore. Everyone on here who is succesful at growing has spent hours upon hours reading through these forums, other forums, and books researching how to grow. Start there, and try again when you know more and have some money to spend on lights, soil, fertilizer, etc.

  10. to clarify i was NOT laughing at your expense... far from it.. ( still laughing but not at you) :)

it is just funny seeing a plan that is that tall and has nothing on it.

good luck and i am sure you will figure out what the best way to grow is for you... what, with all this great information its hard not succeed if you are just willing to put the time in.

now get that tall bastard out of that goo and into some dirt, cover it up about ½ - 1 inch from the leaves.

  11. Can we all say "STRECH".

Get it out of there and give it some support and see how things go man.

Sorry to say but i realy cant see that plant surviving.

!!! No offence by the way !!!

  12. transplant it, and like someone said bury most of the stalk too. i'd leave only 1 or 2 inches of the stalk above the soil. transplant soon, and it's saveable.

  13. well i didnt waste any money on the plant thing i got it at work for free, my bud had seeds and just gave them to me, i dont like having a responsibility so i thought this would be good for lazy people but i guess i was wrong, i mean i'll try but if i loose it, it wont be any biggie i just wanted to see how far i could have gone. oh well:smoking: Poped the top off to let him get taller.

  14. the only way i could see that working is if you took the gel or whatever that stuff is from one and put 2 containers worth so the roots have more room in one contained put the seed in and pop the top and put the light close so it doesn't stretch

  15. Alright, that makes more sense. I was wondering why someone would go out and buy something like that before seeing if it was useable. Also, Im guessing you just used a normal incadescent desk lamp? You need to go get a CFL, and keep it about 2 inches away from your sprout, it wont stretch near as much

  16. " \t\t \t\t \t\t \t\t1. I bought a sharper image "plantarium garden lab", its a container with gel on the bottom, you put the seed in it and watch it grow."

we didnt say you bought it we were just reading what you wrote... whatever either way it would probably be cool if you could actually use it... sort of like hydro where you can see the roots... oh well man

    dont give up

  17. ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh okay i did write that, well "My Bad" i dont proof read things i type, i like to think iam good at typing, 25 wpm!!! hahaha

  18. Nice stick you're growing there.

Letting it get taller is the last thing it needs.

If you really just wanted to plant a seed to see it sprout then fine, but then why all the questions here? If you really want to grow it out then you need much more light and re-plant where a) the roots aren't exposed to light and b) you bury the stem to within about an inch of the leaves.

Oh, and P.S. only refer to your plants in the masculine tense if you know it is male, otherwise try to bring good karma by always saying "she/her."
