Hey everyone, this is my first grow ever so any help is appreciated. Just some details:
    - Gelat.OG strain in Hydro DWC with 100W Phlizon LED grow light
    - GH nutrients with Hydroguard running at around 700 PPM
    - I use tap water and keep pH 5.8-6.0 (I heard two water usually has enough minerals that I don’t need CalMag?)
    - Day temp 76-80°F, 70° at night. 73° water temp. 50-60% RH

These brown-yellowish spots began appearing on the plants, and I believed it was pH fluctuations because it dipped below 5.2 one day after I miscalculated how much pH down was needed. It was in the low pH water for about a day before I noticed. Did a complete reservoir swap and now the pH is back to normal. It's now been 2 days since the change, however, the spots don’t seem to be going away, and if anything they’re still spreading. Is there an additional problem that I’m having? I’ve checked for any root rot and have not seen any, nor any pests. Any help appreciated!

  2. Not all tap water is created equal.
It looks like a possible calcium deficiency........I would add some calmag.
Try to keep your pH in the 5.5 - 5.8 range when doing DWC.
Good luck and welcome to GC.

  3. Makes sense. Yeah, I ordered some so hopefully that'll fix it. Do you recommend using like half dose for tap water?

  4. I use a 1ml per gal dose for tap water until very late flower and then I stop all together.

Not sure if that's wise or not to be honest.
