Hey guys, I am contemplating doing a stealth indoor set up and i need some help choosing a strain. I'm mainly looking for a reasonably easy to grow plant, preferably without an intense odor. I was thinking about kali mist, rocklock, northern lights, or american dream. would any/all of these fit that bill? I want one premium sativa and one "couch lock" type. Thanks for any help!
Northern lights is bullet proof. I messed up my first grow so bad a million ways, but I could not kill that plant. It grew no matter what. It had a moderate yeild and very little smell. The smell was like MountainDew soda syrup. Very good smell only after breaking it up to roll one. The height was short (half the size of my White Widow).
Thanks for the info! How was the white widow grow? Has anyone tried any of the other ones? I've grown bag seed a few times so I think I can get through the grow process a few times w/o messing up too terribly bad. What I don't know is what exactly is harder about growing a different strain.
I gotta vote "no" or at least "be careful" with Northern Lights, as years ago when a boyfriend of mine was growing some in his apartment, it STUNK and he spent a lot of time and effort neutralizing odors. The bud, however, was EXCELLENT. I'd imagine you don't know any fellow growers around you, but if you did, I'd suggest getting a cutting or two from ones they already feel are "least stinky". Then you also have the benefit of jumping over the whole germination and sexing of plants thing too We found that in general Indica stunk worse than Sativa, but of course in limited room, Indica is often preferred. Kinda sucks. Hopefully someone has more useful information in a "yes go for this" fashion! PotGrrl
