I'm currently growing nine super lemon haze plants and I had them spaced evenly in a 5x5. They are auto flowers and I was using two 1,000 w HPS lights. Hydro planet is the brand. I just recently as they got into the pre-flower stage, took out my HPS lights and bought two 2 thousand watt LED lights. From what I can tell, the actual wattage draw is actually a lot lower, but I'm wondering if it produces the more light which I'm hoping because that's one thing I was looking for as well as increasing my yields by significant amount. So I'm just wondering what thoughts are and if I can be taught anything I need to know about this setup and whether or not I made the right choice. And will receive the results I want. Nah you only get the power draw. Lights that list they are a higher wattage than they actually pull are garbage I'd get my money back while you still can.
Yeah, but is there any equivalent to HPS or something along those lines? Because I mean even the major brands out there will list their lights as 2004,000 1,000 watt and in reality if it's an LED it's only drawing maybe no more than 300 w to 400. The ones I have now are advertises 2000 watt and I mean it's a reliable company brand but the power draw is only 205 watts
All the quality light companies I know dont do that. Quality light companies show don't hide the lights actual wattage. Most have the actual power in the lights name. LEDs will list their equivalent, however good companies wont list that as a selling point. Quality lights you don't have to look at the actual power draw lol that sounds like blurples
