  1. This is my first post, i've skimmed trough here for quite some time for information and different interesting things. I've learned alot from this site and appreciate everyone on this forum.

I didnt think this would be my first post, but im coming to you all for some help.

Me and my cousin started our grow this year, it's our second year and we started our grow in early april.
They 7 plants that we got going then are now about a foot and a half tall and were looking great other than a few fan leaves with signs of bugs. we had the same thing last year but we left them alone and everything turned out amazing. This year my cousin, was told that a soap/water mixture would keep the bugs off the plants so he has sprayed them twice against my will, but today he called and said that the plants are looking rough and leaves are starting to brown. I have not seen them in the past 3 days, but i am going down tomorrow...

Is there anything we can do to save these plants? The seeds are from amsterdam and out of our 40 plants they are the only ones that are not bag seed....

Whatever other information you guys need please ask. I just really dont want to let them die if i have a choice...

    Thank you so much..

These are the plants as of saturday. we have them away from our other plants... kind of our babies.

  2. Try to wash it of spraying them with just water until you can see an overflow, then give them a little shake and hope for the best.
Get some pics of the plants right now and with some detail to really know the gravity of your situation!
    good luck bro

  3. Im headed out tomorrow, so i will get pictures then. anything else?

  4. Unscented dish soap should be mixed with neem oil then sprayed, its an emulsifier. Ive never heard of just soap and water, tell your cousin to get a few opinions on something before he goes and sprays your plants like a jackass.

  5. Get bigger pots .

  6. Here is some help and great advice. I recommend that you purchase grow books by Ed Rothensal and Jorge Cervantes. The books will teach you everything you need to know and most people who grow quality plants has a copy or two to use as reference. They will save you a lot of heart ache and you will have better results.

As for the pest I suggest using neem with the dish soap along with Spinosad or BT. This should treat most pest and should be sprayed once or week as a preventituve and every 3-4 days if you already have an infestation. They should be sprayed on both sides of the leaves and either early morning or just prior to sunset. This will prevent the plants from being burnt.

Next I would transplant to bigger pots. Fabric pots work great and the large the pot the larger the plant can get and it will help maintain moisture in the soil on hot days. It can be common to have to water once or twice a day during the hot summers. Good luck and make sure that you read the books cover to cover at least 2-3 times. It will teach you things you never had and idea about before and cover seed to harvest along with drying and curing. It's the best investment you can make regarding growing cannabis. Good luck.

  7. Thanks for all the input guys.

As for the pots should we transplant to 5 gallon buckets or I was thinking about cutting several 55 gallon drums that used to hold water in half and just leaving them in there instead of stressing them out by transplanting from pot to 5 gallon bucket to drum...
I'll go pick those books up this evening.
I took alot of pictures for you guys. I am uploading now.

    Again thanks for the responses.

  8. Those books are a waste of money tbh, I have more grow experience and knowledge then ed, there is a lot of misinformation
