THIS NEEDS TO BE MOVED TO THE INDOOR SECTION NOW

    Intro:
So I used to do a little bit of hydroponics, but nothing to major, just some simple stuff and whatever I got I smoked. Now that I have my Medical Card and can legally do it, I want to plant all 12 plants that the state will let me. I am not starting until January so there is plenty of time to get a general idea of what the best I can get for my Dollar is. You will notice a lot of my equipment is through the same website, I do not have any preference, just always been a satisfied customer through them. I have narrowed it down to the key points of things that you need to buy to affect the yield.

    Goal:
I want the highest yield possible
    15% THC or higher
    Under $2,000 with Shipping

    Current Equipment to be Purchased:

SIDE NOTE: I am not asking you to go through and build me a whole new garden, just if you say know a different light for twenty bucks more could grant me more yield, or know of a better nutrient kit, just let me know :)

  2. Light is too weak for 12 plants.

1000 watt cool tube with inline fan is what you need.

I knew the light was gonna be a HUGE problem, I will look into getting that changed =]

Lighting has been changed, I still have a couple bucks to blow, so I would like to see what others think =]

  4. The more I think about it, the more I know those 2 gallon buckets are going to severely hurt my yield, will def look into making my own system.

  5. Your gonna need A LOT more nutrients than just big bud if you want huge yield and high thc. First your gonna need a base such as advanced nutrients grow, micro, and bloom. Not just the supplements. Than some advanced nutrient supplements, voodoo juice and cabo load for great root health during veg, maybe some b-52 also. Flower is Bud candy, big bud, overdrive, kushie kush, final phase. Also gonna need some cal-mag plus. Botanicare makes that.

A great plant starts at the beginning of veg not flower

  6. Few more. Bud igniter. Rhino skin, wet Betty, bud factor x

  7. Also your gonna need some kind of water filtration system. Such as a ro (reverse osmosis) water filter. $100 to 200

  8. Not a big ticket item, but don't forget air pump and airstone. Maybe a Hanna combo meter also.

  9. Also gonna need an inline fan for that cool tube $100-$200 depending on size, ducting, thermometer, co2 tank, carbon filter so your neighborhood doesn't smell like the room,

  10. that ebb and grow system sound like a marketing ploy check out the stickys or the diy section for instruction on how to build your own dwc or bubble bucket system which is the same grow tents and lights are available on ebay brand new

to maximize yield with 12 plants u will need to scrog look at soume grow journals for good scrog examples

  11. I'd go with a 2k vertical barebulb stadium...or 2 1k 6 bucket rdwc "weed donuts" on a flip flop...run lucas formula, and I'd use the left over $ for ac and a dehuey and other stuff to dial in the environment....but that's totally different from what you've got going. :)

rarouni remind me to have a smoke with you, added everything you suggested, I didn't see an "or" when it came to the nutrients so I just assumed you meant all of them, Just curious, how am I to know exactly when to add what and how much of it?

Briar Patch your suggestion has been noted and added, saved me $120

Bong Boi you also saved me a ton, found the same grow tent for half the price, and will look into building my own system for half the price.

Bong Sauce I could not find a 2k barebulb stadium light, I googled for damn near an hour in every way I could think of, a link to your suggestion would be helpful, but if you don't want to you are still awesome for your suggestions

Thanks again to everyone for the help, more and more is always nice.

Side note: Just thanking you all again more specifically because I added 11 different nutrients, a fan, filter, and ducting and was not looking forward to going over budget, but because of your suggestions I am still WAY under budget =]

  13. You're such an appreciative person. Maybe I can save you another $10.
hanna combo meter - $129.90 [URL="http://www.plantlightinghydroponics.com/ph-combination-meters-c-373_497.html I guess I suck at posting links but check this site out might save you some more money on those nutes.

  14. The bottles them selves will say when to use. Such as bud candy is from weeks 1-6 of flower at 2ml per liter of water. Do some online searching and u will know what u need

  15. No problem. I like to see people grow right. As for the nutrients. Go to advanced nutrients web site and the have feeding charts and feeding calculators for application strength and how to

  16. Thanks so much rarouni, I try to be one of those guys that tries to figure everything out right at once so I feel like I know everything, but now I am going to just stick to getting the equipment right, then take it nice and slow when I get it.

Briar Patch you almost got the url coding, it's quite easy once you know it's just [ url =link]what you want it to say[/ url] with out the spaces between the [] if I didn't put those in there it would have coded it, but thanks for the ten bucks good sir, and the reason why I am so appreciative is because people are just giving out all this knowledge for free, the least I can give is praise and thanks, thinking about starting a grow journal when I get going so people can help me, I will probably Credit everyone who does and maybe write all your names on my Res so everyone who looks at my Journal will know.

Updated with a bigger grow tent, 4'x4' wasn't about to cut it, and added in the major components for my own system, I think I have it dialed in for the most part, Glad for everyone's help and keep it coming, don't be afraid to suggest something, I can always save for a little bit longer ;D

  17. Ya just start slow with the basics. Also another thing since there's gonna be a lot plugged in is a cheap multi outlet surge protector (cheap ones at Walmart) or an expensive outlet controller with individual timers for each outlet. That's one thing I looked over when I was getting setup. Had a mess of wires for about a week till I got a surge protector

  18. Thanks for the tip bud, I am starting to figure this all out, trying to not overwhelm myself with knowledge, just going to get the equipment, then go from there, Odds are I will have the equipment in a week and the seeds usually take like three so it will give me plenty of time to work everything, I can't wait to start setting it up, just gotta save up my money, my goal is by after a year of growing I can get up to 8 oz. per plant.

  19. Half a pound per plant is huge yield. Not saying its impossible but there's a lot of factors. Some strains won't produce that much no matter what it how big u grow them. Gonna need a lot of light, a lot of nutrients and a lot of knowledge. Good luck I'm hoping for a qp of my black Russian and a couple ounces of my purple haze. Hers a pic of them

My clones in veg from those mothers. 2 black Russian and 1 g13. Good seed bank is attitude
