So me and a couple friends have accidentally started growing a female plant and we've decided we're going to run with it, but really want to get the most out of it. Yeah, it's just one plant. With the fall season creeping in, the weather is getting chilly and the sun light is more scarce every day. Our plant is a few inches tall and we need light on it ASAP. We know that a HPS light fixture is highly recommended, but we don't know where to get one (and how strong of one for just 1 plant) besides online, which would take at least a week for shipping. Obviously we haven't grown anything before.. any help would be appreciated. edit* the room we're using is a 3x4 ft closet.
Grab some CFLs to hold you over until you can get an HPS. Order the HPS from amazon, ebay, or htg supply. If you plan on growing in the future, you should probably go ahead and get a 400W or 600W. If you only want the one plant you can do a 250W HPS.
