Hello All, I have some wilting leaves that are dark dark green but getting ruff and curling under. This is happening on my 30 day old seeds. Using T8 lights no more than 2 inches from plant one K 3000 temp bulb and one K 6500 temp bulb, soil, ph is 5.8. These problems pictures are pictures labeled Veg I also have something going on that is bleaching my leaves out and then they just fall off the at stem. These are in flowering and only lower leaves. The leaves also have a ruff dry bumby brown mold looking spots out along the edges. Light is 1000 watt HPS about 18 inches from tops. The plants are a little thick so maybe because light is not getting thru. But what is the ruff spots on edges of leaves then. They dry out at edges but remain soft on the rest. These problem pictures are labeled flower. Thanks for the help and anymore info needed I will be HAPPY to supply.
I have to agree with Kushkushyumyum. This looks like a sulfur deficiency brought on by nutrient lockout. What is your pH? You should check the run-off water. The "ram's horn" bent leaf is typically an indicator of over fertilization =/ along with the crispy ends of the leaves. I'd also make sure your roots look okay. Over-fertilization, pH stress and too much water will cause root rot which will *also* cause nutrient lockouts. I lost a baby that way thinking that she had a nute deficiency rather than a root issue. If it is a root issue then adding more nutrients will not solve the problem but exacerbate it. Good luck.
Thank you both, PH of water with nuts going in was 7.0 and run off was 5.7. I flushed with 2X water. Run off was 6.5-7.0 depending on which one. Some needed more water than others to get PH run off up to 6.5. Roots look healthy. 24 hours now since flush and not seeing the same rate of leave damage. I know it will take a couple more days to really see if it worked or not. Any other advice please feel free to educate me. I am using Shultz All Purpose 20-30-20 at 1/4 teaspoon per gallon every feed. Every 4th watering I use No Nuts.
Looks like some nute burn, but also heat burn. Try backing off the light about 4" with the T5 and about 8-10" with the 1000w.
I think it looks a little burned. You should water, water, feed. not feed, feed, feed, water. get em flushed and keep an eye on your PH.
