I've been thinking a lot about my next grow, and while this won't be my first rodeo, it will be my first time with soil and multiple plants. A basic outline, 3 1000watt hps lights, soil medium, proper exhaust and intake, possibly limited amount of space, 4-5 month grow time. Questions 1.)Given the amount of light, how many plants would be result in the biggest harvest? 2.)Whats a good soil/medium for plants, I was thinking 5gal buckets with fox farm/peat moss/vermiculite combo, but fox farm shipping will probably be unpractical. What's a good local soil medium and what kind of nutes should be used? 3.)Will I need any special electrical equipment to run 3k watts worth of lights+fans? depends on where local is. i have a 1 hour drive to get FFOF soil and its worth the drive i assure you. and i woul guesstimate between 28-35 plants would be in the range of what you could do. but people do amazing things lol. gl to u sir.
