I am gonna be moving soon and the place I am moving to has a shed in the back yard. So every week I am gonna be hanging out with some friends. Anyways we will also be getting a dog and I need to know what is a good breed to have for hanging out in that kind of a situation. Thanks

Edit: We definitely want a more chill dog.

  2. any breed that isn't tiny is fine for that situation, them ankle biters get to yappin' and carrying on like you don't believe. Don't get a puppy unless you want to train/play with it to get it settled down/used to your living style.

basicly get an older dog that's healthy.

    I don't suggest rotweiler/doberman pincher/pit bull/dalmation

  3. Labrador retrievers or Golden retrievers are sooo fucking chil, they are super nice with kids and are very energetic to play outside :)

  4. Boxers,
they are so chill and funny,
    make sure they're pure bred,
google either boxers or a breed called "dogo"
do alot of research on specific breeds as well,
but if you want dosile dogs boxers are the way to go

  5. Pitbull if it's legal in the area. German sheperd if not.

  6. pitbulls are not dosile at all and neither are shepards lol,
not trying to diss you, just saying

  7. Pugs are wicked chill

  8. That's some bullshit. That's propoganda just like you've heard about weed from so many sources before. EVERYTHING comes down to how you train and treat the dog. I have had numerous dogs in very different settngs and I know for a fact the dog won't be unbalanced unless the owner has made it so. The people that spread lies about pitbulls and the like are just as terrible as those saying weed makes you a raving axe murderer that craves crack all day.

  9. I agree with you completely. I tell people all the time, you can't stereotype a dog just like you can't stereotype a person. It doesn't matter what breed your dog is, if you mistreat it, it will become mean. Dogs tend to take after their owners--If you're chill and take good care of your dog, they are going to pick up on this energy and behave likewise.

  10. me and my pomeranians toke together.

foxy pogo snickers and twiggy, yes i have four.

    and a german sheppard ftw.:smoking:

  11. yes it can vary on the individual dog, I did not say that pitbulls are agressive ,
just that they aren't dosile, dogo's were specifically bred with boxer so they would be dosile at home,
yes individual dogs can vary, but he asked for a specific breed with a background of being chill,
my dad has had two pitbulls and two rotweillers so i speak from experience,
right now i have two boxers and they mostly sleep all day and are by far the chillest dogs,
and we havent put them in puppy school or anything, they chill because its part of their selective traits that the breed was created for,
and no its not like comparing that to weed making you crazy,
there are facts that pitbulls tend to be more aggressive in general,
there aren't any facts supporting weed turning you into an "axe murderer"

  12. Golden retrievers are the shit. Cant go wrong with them. They can be kinda spazzy as puppies though, just depends on the dog.

But I would definitely suggest rescuing a dog from a shelter. I know it sounds like some hippy shit, but you can literally save a dogs life.:smoking:

  13. Black Lab / Golden Lab / Australlian Sheperd / German Sheperd cross. Just make sure there's no cattle/sheep in the area, or he'll be trying to run the herd. (or if so, make sure you keep him on your property at all times).

  14. Golden retriveer is the best dog I have owned. It also depends on how you treat them and train them. You should spend time training a dog. My doberman was very gental and loving with all people. Yet on a command he would turn into a hell hound. All dogs no matter the bread will get upset if your horse playing around them.

  15. True to a certian extent. When I was 15, I got so pissed off that I damed near shot the family dog. I had the pistol in my hand, and I was going to kill it, but my step-mother talked me down from killing it. I'm glad she did. (the sumbitch jumped on me, so I was going to put it down). (The dog just died of natural causes this year, (18 days ago), and I was upset. I'm just glad that I'm not the one who was responsible for his death.
