Is there any way I can dry my soil out?? I overwatered it by accident (thought the cap was on tight, obviously not).
If the plant was ready to be watered, the soil getting dry and you have holes in the bottom of the plant pot (a good size pot for the size of the plant) then you can't over water the plant in good soil but if you water the plant again before the soil starts to dry out, you will then overwater the plant the roots need the soil to loss about 70% of water so the soil can breath and relesae toxins if you water to often, the roots can't realease toxins and you get root problens if you keep overwater the plants over time you will get root rot and kill the plant
Wait till July and take your plant to Yuma, Arizona and let it sit out in the sun for a day. LOL ok that was a dumbass reply sorry i'm baked lol
also use some rocks at the bottom and/or big chunks of perlite for better drainage. If you dont like the pots u are using, try using SmartPots or SpringPots, they provide very good drainage and aeration to the soil
