Hi everyone I've constructed a DIY ebb and flow system for my closet stealth grow. It has a 7 gallow res with a 5 gallon tray. I will be growing in 1 gallon net pots filled with coco surrounded by hydroton clay pebbles. My style of grow will incorporate 4 pots in a SOG. It actually works quite well and only cost me about $80. Plants are ak-47 clones that i took myself off a strong mother that ive been vegging for about 3 months, they have nice roots but I will wait for a good root system before I transplant as I'm already feeding them nutes (Canna A+B) (700ppm/1EC) They seem to be responding well. I'll be using a 400w air cooled dual spectrum HPS. My question is what would be the most efficient Flood cycle to use in this system considering I'm growing primarily in coco, given its aeration/moisture holding characteristics. I'm aiming for max yield here. Sorry I cant upload pics atm but they will come later when i begin my grow journal. Thanks for taking the time to read this and all advice and criticism is welcome as this is my first grow.
I forgot to mention that my overflow allows the nutrient solution to flood 2 inches up the net pots before it drains, if that makes any difference.
Cool man From what I've read, It's hard to overwater coco because of It's aerating properties so If i can maximise by watering more regularly I would like to take advantage of that, I just need a experts opinion. Thanks for replying!
did you ever find the answers you were looking for? im thinking about doing coco this next run, i want to use my multiflow ebb flow bucket system, cant find to much info either!
