  1. Hey guys I've been growing now for a year at my friends house and since he is moving in with his girlfriend we have to stop growing, I've been growing indoor soil based plants, and tried auto flowering hydro but was never successful, so I was wondering what you need to do and have for outdoor grows, how easy are they, do you need shelter for your plant due to rain, I live in rhode island so it gets cold so I was wondering if its possible, how its done, and what seeds are best. Thanks so much for the info

  2. Hey man, glad your willing to take up outdoor growing! it's actually very simple, much easier than indoor. With that being said, you first need to buy seeds that are suited for your area, generally a strain that is pure indica, or has a flowering time of 8 or 9 weeks. After that, you decide wheher your planting in ground, by digging roughly 5 gl holes, or get buckets, but this way is much more expensive and limits your plants growth potential. SO if you decide to plant in ground, you will need to buy soil, and maybe consider some perlite or peat moss, this will help your air and water flow. You should try to check on the plants once every 2 weeks, but if you went once a week you will have better results. When you go to your plants, you want to make sure to 1. give them water, IF NEEDED. (you should try to feed your plant bottled water becasue it is usually ph correct. only feed when the top 2 inches of soil is dry. 2. remove any DEAD leaves (this means brown, curling up, NOT yellow) 3. shake any excess water off the plant to prevent mold 4. look for signs of other ppl visiting the sight. Also, make sure your grow spot has at least 8 hours of direct sunlight on the plant, or you will have poor results. Hope this helped and best of luck!

  3. Alrite I'm going to do it on my own property so I'm not too worried about people coming through it but I live in rhode island anyone know any great strains because it rains a lot here, so do I shelter the plant or can they handle it, and anyone know of any feminized outdoor seeds?

  4. best advice i can give is to read read read... read the stickys. growing marijuana outdoors is no walk in the park either.

  5. U might want to grow plants inside for a few weeks to get them sturdy enough for weather and to make up for shorter season. Other than that they are quite resiliant, hence the nick-name weed. Be careful on your own property.

  6. Alrite I know I should keep reading and I have been for the past months but I don't get it still, so I plant the seed indoors and treat it like a indoor plant, then I transplant it to a outdoor hole and water and giv it nutes? What strains are the hardest to kill being I don't want it to die due to rain or underwatering? Any tips or advice I need help and a overview on how to grow outdoor in rhoide island.

  7. Ok I've read that from cover to cover twice, but I was wondering if I could just plant a seed in the soil mixture and start it from seed to harvest all outside? And I live in rhode island so I was wondering what strains are good for hardest to kill, most yield, perfect for rhode island strain, anyone?

  8. of course you can:)... preferably after your last frost date

  9. Ok so huge problem!
