I worked in a resteraunt for 6 months, but left that recently. I now am in need of a new job, gotta work full time for a few months. I dont want to be working in a resteraunt anymore, damn tired of it. What do yall suggest? Ive applied to car dealerships for detailing, clothes shops, book stores, whole earth, marble slab, target, but havnt heard anything back yet. Anyone have any suggestions? Where do you guys work?

I work at Borders part time while i'm in school and I love it....books, music, movies, and free coffee...can't beat that. And of course, the fact that they don't test is a plus!
you know.......it might not be a bad idea if your short of cash.............buy a couple ounces and "throw away" a couple bags..........quick easy money..........but shitty if you get caught.........good luck findin a job............

I applied to borders. When you applied, did you apply online? If so, how long did it take them to call you back? Ive tried calling some of the places back, but still havnt gotten one interview. Ive been trying to talk directly to managers, but sometimes there not always around. As for selling, well i dont want anything on my record. I had gotten an MIP, and just did the community service, I did it with two felons, one had 10 years of probation for assault, and the other got busted with 2 ounces of coke and a pound of bud. He said hes probably headed back to jail. Thats shit I dont want to have to worry about, so dealing is not an option.
pizza delievery... unless you got no car... but if you do, man delievey man is the sweetest job out there.. you get to drive around (i love driving), you can smoke, listen to music the whole time, and tips are great. I only make 5.5/hour but with tips and gas money they give me ($1/delievery) I usually make close to $10/hour...
man...i'm stuck at my job for a few more months. but even when those months are up i don't know if i'll move on or not. been there a year, fell into the rut as to where work is work and i don't care either way. nothing makes me complain but i don't enjoy it. i'll think about it more in a few months...
Try music stores, cell phone stores, wal-mart or any other kind of place. Hell maybe even gas stations is your up for that. Grocery stores or hobby shops... I don't know. It just depends on how big your city is. If you live in a real big city then I'd say try to become part of something where you could work your way up the ranks (a paper place, or doing work for a film crew would be cool, but thats just my opinion.) Selling weed would be a terrible idea for a main income source.
i work at a rustic furniture shop nearby, its definatly cool, cause its privately owned and ran, cept for me of course....u shud try and find a job like mine, i dont do shit, sit around and look shit up on the internet, find a family owned and ran business, most places like that need help, at least for part time.
