I am growing in a VERY small space, and thus far it has worked great. With a little training here and there I have been able to work it out. However, because this is a cabinet, of sorts, the doors of the cabinet let in a very small amount of light along the area of the hinge. Does anyone out there have a solution for preventing this? It has to be a solution that works from the inside. Any help is GREATLY appreciated.
ummm... maybe you could duct tape the relavant ares from the outside to stop ur light leaking and to create complete darkness when the lights are out. Just an idea though
Well, that's the thing...I need any fixes to take place on the inside of the cabinet. the outside is a no-no for any 'improvements'.
I lined the inside of my cabinet with Panda paper. i left the pieces on the door a little longer so when i close it it covers the crack with the hinges. I've have weather stripping on the top of the cabinets where the light leaks the most.
You could try getting some Velcro for both sides, that might help a bit as well as covering it up with a blanket or towel, best of luck!
weather stripping... it has a sticky side and a non sticky side... just tape up the inside of the door and it will block all light five dollars at home depot...
