Hey guys hope you all are having a great weekend, just a few quick shots of the LA Conf. still vegging... mighty slow vegger :p & I'm still having that def. issue btw FML :( gave it a pH'd watering w/ calmag today and keeping a close eye on it seems to have worsened some.

I've narrowed it down to either a K, Mg, or Ca def. kinda think it's either a K or Ca though. Also I never knew that using distilled water as I am that you need to add calmag to it never knew that which leads me to believe why it may be a Ca def. Well here are the two ladys :)

Good Morning guys  well I just gave a couple plants a pH watering w/ calmag this morning and I'm having low pH runoff issues once again geez so many probs lately like they say when it rains it pours :/ I think the FFOF I got wasn't buffered somethings wacked with it didn't have the problem last time and also I hear now that FF has started manufacturing the soil on the eastcoast & is different then what's on the westcoast :/ next time I'm going with another soil think this has left a bad taste in my mouth.

Using FFOF, watered w/ pH 6.5-6.8 and keep getting constant pH runoffs at 6.0. I've read others having this issue with FFOF but this is the first time I've had this problem.

I am currently almost a week into flower, and am wondering if I get some powdered dolomite lime can I mix this into the water as it's already to late to be amended into the soil. Will this solve the issue?? If so how much should I use and do I have to pH adjust the water (using distilled) before mixing in the dolomite lime? Or should I top feed with it and then water with pH adjusted water?

I'm confused here and this is prob the culprit locking out nutes & the reason why they are showing def. brown/rust colored spots. If someone could please give me some advice on what to do from here I've already tried a flush with no success & don't know if I should raise the pH to say 7.5 or so and see if that raises it kinda leary doing that.

  5. Use 7 ph, that should get your run off to 6.5, then you'd be good.

  6. Looking good brotha...:D:smoke:

  7. Hey what's happening brotha, yeah that's what I was thinking of doing up'ing the pH of my water/nutes a little but I'm not even sure that will work at this point because when I've been watering/feeding I've had it adjusted between 6.5-6.8 and it still comes out 6.0-6.1 usually 6.0, so up'ing it to 7 I would think it wouldn't come out any different.

Damn FFOF lol :p well this is a good reminder from now on whatever soil I use whether it be FFOF again or something else to make sure I add dolomite lime to the mix first. Hmmm........

I don't know enough about using dolomite lime either, like if getting powdered DL and mixing 1-2 tsp. into some pH'd water & watering with it would work? Also don't know if I can use it now that I'm in flowering. Maybe I'll just try like you said adjusting pH to 7 and give it a go with that next feeding atleast I know what the pH going in is and I've read other places that runoff isn't always a tell tale sign of what your soil pH really is. I just gotta get a hold on it soon, while it's still early in flowering atleast.

Funny thing is the two L.A.C. are doing just great no def. foliage is flawless but the thing is when I transplanted those it was a fresh new bag of FFOF which makes me think that bag I used for the others was a hot bag.

Hey, hey Nate long time no talk bro thank you for the kind words the L.A.C. are doing fantastic it's the other's I'm having some issues with their being difficult little ladies :p

Everything is looking awesome over your way to brotha see you got it work'in right now :D:smoke: hope you had a good weekend & all is well.

  8. I've been battling calmag issues and low run off, around 6.1. Some one suggested I use 7.0 ph for o while. I've been doing that and adding 1/4 tsp dolimite lime and a little Epsom salt. My calmag deff is some what in check and my run off ph is just about 6.45 now!! It takes a little time, though.

  9. What up All  just some pics ending week 2 of flower. Have a great weekend & hope all is well peace.

lol Hey what's happening HS, thanks appreciate it brotha hope you had a good weekend I gotta make my trip over your way hope all is going well :)

Hey Amigo! Ty, yeah I ended up getting that all taken care of just need to remember distilled water needs calmag everytime from now on it cleared up after a coupe straight waterings with it. Yeah overall they are looking pretty decent I guess, starting to pack on some pistils I however under estimated my space this time and got a little carried away I'm really pushing the space limit to thee max! The WR are absolute bushy monsters lol :p

Hope you had a great weekend as well brotha, I'm about to head over on your way to check what's going on :D

Hey dangerous  Ty for stopping in & checking things out and hanging around for it the kind words are much appreciated! Sweet you can't go wrong with NL it won't disappoint I'd like to do it again sometime :) It all varied from each plant but out of the 5 lady's I ended up with 235g dry little over 8oz. & they were chopped about a week to week & a half early. Four of the plants were the indica pheno and the other was a sativa pheno which yielded considerably less then the others but was just as potent & tasty ;)

I'll be heading over your way to check things out & pull up a seat as well for your NL grow, I love me some NL one of my favs!!

  14. Hey all  just a quick update with some early bud porn pics :D at the end of week 3! Hope everyone is doing well & having a good week peace fellas.

  15. Check out THAT lush forest of goodness! Looks like you got the game on lock with your skills brotha.....[IMG]

Can you tell me a bit about the soil you are using? Been asking some of everybody. Gonna try my hand at it on a small scale.

  16. Hey what's happening AG sorry it took a bit to respond internet has been out :/ thank you appreciate it just trying to get a little better each go around ya know. LOL no kidding on the forest kind of went a little over board this one with space issues

As for the soil I'm using it's just FFOF with a little extra perlite added but I'm really disappointed in FFOF this time around it's been a absolute nightmare I'm not sure it was even pH buffered low pH runoffs and alot more def. issues this time. I'm going to go with a super soil next time around I'm pretty much done with FFOF it's left a bad taste in my mouth and I've heard what you get on the eastcoast is not the same stuff as out west.

Hope all is well brotha & have a great weekend talk to ya soon peace.

  17. Hey everyone, just a pic update end of week four started them on molasses this week. They are smelling incredible especially the White russian smells of sweet honey and fruit just spitting out trichs. The others smell decent also but nothing like the WR right now should be some awesome stuff! Hope yall are doing well & have a good weekend peace

  18. Awesome description of the smelly ladies bruh. Lookin nice too.

Damn Fox Farm soil! Gotta be working out for somebody for it to still sell.

Good lick on that super soil venture. From the recipes I seen, you have to make an abundance of if. Do you have the room?

  19. On my first grow I was having small issues all the time. Nute burn and nute def was messing with me as I was trying different things. At first I had miraclegrow then was a couple other local soils and ferts. When I heard about coco I fell in love. It's a clean slate that I can put only what I want in.
Your girls are looking great! Are you going to have to anything about the odor? Every time my central heat kicks on it brings a wonderful smell through the house!!!

Gracias, yeah damn FF is right haha, I mean yeah it works it's decent soil I guess but seems like I'm always reading someone having problems with it and just seems like there's always a good chance of getting a bad bag of it so rather then have the issues I had this time around rather save myself the headache of it happening again ya know. Plus it's time to experiment :D

I'm looking at using subcools actually from what I've read it's good stuff & supposedly alot use it up in northern cali so figured I try it eventually maybe not next grow but maybe the following. Yeah and your right you do gotta make a abundance of it I was planning on using either a kiddie pool to mix it up or maybe the tub :p & then store it in large sized trash cans. It will be a adventure I'm sure and just want to make sure I do it right spending all the time and money to make it no F up's aloud LOL :D

What are you using for soil right now?
