I need to set the ph n water for soil. I do not have the ph up and down, what can i use to raise and lower it from my fridge? sorry im new to this forum...
Vinegar, lemon juice, baking soda. All ph up and down is is acidic on one side alkaline on one side. Theres no magic in it. Like the build up of soap scum in your shower or on your dishes when you wash is from the ph being off in the water. That novel shower spray you spray on the walls after you shower basically has acid in it to stop the formation..same with dishwashing additives. Vinegar works in either case.
this is very helpful. thank you.I heared using baking soda is bad for the plants because of the dissolved solids. so what im really asking now is how much is to much baking soda.
enough to get the ph down or up. it takes a tiny amount usually like with PH up or Ph Down often a few drops outta a syringe is all it needs to get what your chasing.
