I used to live in Kentucky. They held out longer than many when it came to fracking, but I knew it would take over there eventually. For some reason I loved that state even though they seem to live about 10 years behind the time.
Probably bullshit but Mark Twain reportedly said "When the end of the world comes I want to be in Kentucky because it will happen there 20 years later".
Reminds me of about 6 months ago we had a propane plant blow up about 10 miles from my house. Even at 10 miles away the explosions were pretty damn intense
