Nasty leaves

  1. Hey guys. First time grower, have had a few issues and a lot of learning along the way. The main one right now is the leaves on my plants except one was turning horrible colours and dying off. Not sure if I have a deficiency, I actually thought maybe I had toxicity when it was just a few yellow leaf tips. I am growing in soil using only organic amendments. I had an issue with over watering for a bit, and then fungus gnats set in a bit. Watered way less and seemed to deplete the gnats, but now the plants look pretty sorry. Definitely worse of the last few days, I am adjusting ph and trying to do everything right. When I look up pics it almost matched a calcium deficiency but unsure. Thoughts? Thanks very much.

  2. It DEFINITELY looks like deficiencies to me.....when you say using "organic amendments".....do you mean like making teas or what??

  3. Using Gaia green organic dry fertilizers. Added to soil when potted and top dressed at week 5. From what I had read about this method it's easier and quite effective.

  4. What medium are you growing in?

  5. Well I am not an "organic grower" so i don't have much "knowledge" in this arena......I DID however try to grow 1 plant.....for 1 cycle organically.....and my plant didn't last too long.....due to what I BELIEVE was nute def...from what i understand....growing organically and trying to get nutes to your plants.....its not like using fert...where you put it in the water and the plant sucks it up......organically.....it has to be broken down or whatever and then released into the soil......something like that.....like i said....i dont do organic!! LOL:passing-joint:
