    NASA to bomb the moon on Friday morning

    Seems like a blatant waste of tax dollars to me. Opinions?

    why would they do that to the moon? its constantly being hit by meteorites daily and has two big asteriod impact marks that they can use.

    i think their just wasting their time. i do not believe there is water on the moon. i would explain but it would be too complicated.

    A moon base would be pretty sweet, and you've got to admit this is a hell of a lot cheeper than trying to safely land some sort of specialized robot on the surface.

    trying to find resources to work with on the moon is extremely important, the way I see it, if we don't have colonies on other planets by the end of the century, the human race will be extinct by 2300
