N00Bie Glass/bong Question............. (Straight Shooter Vs Beaker)

    Alright, what's the deal with 'Straight Shooter' bongs? Like everyone Ive ever smoked with has a beaker bong, I only see beaker bongs at the head shops etc etc Maybe its just my area but can someone explain generally what they are? 
     
    Also, is there more than a difference than design? Like is it smoother, do you put water in it still lol (I know this is a stupid fucking question)

    i like the strait tube style bong myself {in before dick jokes}. i feel like i choke more with the beaker style. i also feel like the extra water held in the beaker makes it a little harder to hit.
     
    with that said, i never pass if its in glass :metal:

    Yeah I like straight tubes also don't need as much water and they don't chug like a fucking steamboat.

    So they're better than beakers or nah? Like is it still smooth when you hit cause it dosent look like it

    It really comes down to personal preference the difference In Smoothness is most like placebo or trivial enough to not make a difference
    I think straight tubes feel smooth and have less drag but beaker vs. straight is hard to say if it will be smoother just depends what you like really

    Its personal preference. I enjoy beaker bongs over straight tube because if you tilt a beaker toward you at a 45 degree angle, you get more surface area for the smoke and the hit is a lot smoother

    I have a beaker bong, and I have tried a straight tube a few times.  I personally like the beaker bong, but I did find that the straight tube had allot less drag. as well as a bit smoother. a friend gave me his theory on this. he say that the straight tube condenses the smoke into a straight line, making it easier to suck down the smoke. while the beaker spreads out the smoke and creates drag, as well as makes the smoke harsher due to causing the smoke to go stale faster.  I'm not sure if it's true or not.
