ive been doing research for atleast a week now and i feel like its so damn much to take in and i still have questions, pretty much ones that i can find no answer to, if its already answered im sorry but i definitely have searched all nooks n crannys alright so im looking to grow ONE plant (i dont smoke often), how will i know how big it is going to get... im assuming its by looking on the seed bank and seeing the size as "small" right? it sounds too easy tho so i'm double checking and by small what is their avg. ? im tryin to grow in my closet which is why im asking i also have a mini fridge in my closet, it puts off a lot of heat...should i move it out to somewhere in my room? and how big does my oscillating fan need to be in order to help pull out old o2 and nourish co2 for ONE plant? maybe i'm reading too deep into this, who knows im high and do i actually needa box to grow it in, or can i set it on a shelf and buy a clamp lamp with a CFL bulb on it? and should i staple reflective material to the walls of my closet if the walls are already white? damn sorry and thanks
You can veg it, if it gets to big you can LST (Low Stress Training) and keep it very small, or look at those scrog style grows. When it gets to roughly 1/3 of the height/bush that you want it to be, move it into flowering and it'll get about 3 times bigger. Have a look at any growing guide in regards to what is the right temp(s) and Humidities. Airflow depends on how big your setup is. A grow box is far better - cause you can add reflective qualities to the walling and ceiling of the box to gain an extra 10%+ light. You need atleast 100 ACTUAL watts and the right spectrum per plant, and 50-75 there after. Make sure you have all the gear you need, DONT skip stuff like PH meters for your watering and soil. But you should already have all these requirements generally sorted right ?
I'm no expert on this stuff, but I'm currently growing 8 plants for my first grow. They are random bag seed plants and i have a 3x5x7 foot box I built. How big is your closet? One should grow nice in proper space and living conditions. I plan in my plants getting about 3ft-4ft. You can really kind of control how you grow them, whether it be flowering them early so they only grow to maybe a foot or two when it is done flowering. It all depends on what methods you use for your light schedule, 12/12 being e flowering schedule. Also for a grow box you should paint the inside white, tin I've heard doesn't reflect that well, also you just need a fan that can keep your plants swaying a bit so they can toughen up their stem which helps them grow well. The average temp should be around 70-75F I believe, don't quote me on that but photosytpnthesis stops happening around 90F I think. And yeah I think that's it. +rep if you think this was helpful
Thats why there is a beginner section The size will have many factors, Strain of the Seed, Size planter your going to use, how tall the plant is when you flip to flowering cycle, the lights you use, the nutes you use and the list goes on Yes, the grow tempature needs to be between 60 and 80 to be effective, the better numbers if you can control the tempature would be 68 to 75 A small 4 to 6 inch fan that blows a slight breeze over the top of the plant is more then plenty provided you not keeping it in a sealed container, growing a single plant in a normal size closet with a small fan should be enough
