Mystery Nuggs

Discussion in 'Seasoned Marijuana Users' started by nps4474@yahoo.c, Jan 8, 2007.

  1. Hello all,

Just shot some photos for another post, found some mystery nuggs in my collection, was wondering if anyone knew the strain. I am sort of an novice photographer and was inspired by the great pics contained in Jason King's various editions of The Cannabible. This is sort of just for fun, I understand identification may not be possible as the buds sort of look like some generic no name, but I can guarentee it's very very tasty, might be Trainwreck or Sour D as I have had bags of these strains in the last few months. Anyfeedback on the herb (or the pics) is appreciated.

    Diggin this forum fo sho.

  2. i dunno the first pic KINDA looks like white widdow or sour deisel

  3. Looks to me like some dank BC Dro. But yeah its pretty generic where i'm from. which is MI.

  4. that looks exactly like the silver haze and haze strains i've been getting down here in fla. there are very large quantities of it.real strong indica couchlock high? i swear that looks exactly like the haze i've been getting. i dont think its the widow or sour d. what does it smell like?

  5. You know, upon closer inspection, and a sniff test, I can tell one of the nugs is Sour D for sure, it has that astringent, floor cleaner, "chemmy" smell to it. I can see why people dig it so much, it's nice to get something other then fruity, or skunky smelling/tasting buds. I had two different batches of SD, from two different dealers in the past month, the nuggs did not at all look alike, but the taste and smell of the herb was identical. I have however heard from others that Sour Diesel has a ripe red grapefruit smell associated with it? I assume that taste would be filed under fruity rather then astringent when describing its oder so who really knows?

  6. i wouldnt classify sour d as having a fruity smell at all. thats cool if that is sour d though. truthfully, it doesnt look like it at all, but theres really no way to tell. either way, it looks like some quality bud. so roll it up or pack it in your bong, and enjoy, because theres millions of people out there today that smoke rags every day of the week because thats all they know. props on the good weed and pics, next time use the scratch and sniff feature on your digi cam so we can get a wiff. peace out

  7. I've gotten authentic sour diesel twice and it smells like lemons and gasoline mixed together and it stings the nostrils. It got me ripped...I love sativas.

Those don't look like the Sour D I've gotten but different growers different buds

  8. YES! Lemons, and gasoline. That is a perfect description of the aroma of Sour D. That is exactly what hit my nostrils.

  9. DRE, haze is a sativa not a couchlock indica dawg, and that reminds me more of a deeeeeeeesil than a trianwreck idk its the leeves on it maybe a white strain too? dunno GO GATORS! YEAHHHHHHHHHH:hello:

  10. If you have so much bud that you're finding 'mystery bud' of THAT quality, I really wouldn't worry about names, my friend. You are SET. :D

  11. LOL I totally hear you. I'm not really complaining. I have been lucky enough to have a few good connects over the last few years. I find that to be crucial, I have about 3 guys I work with regulary, what I do is have them call me whenever something "nice" is floating around (no they don't call and leave me messeges like "Yo got some dank ass Trainwreck, lets discuss price on the phone...). I know it's pretty far from Amsterdam, but even having a small selection of pot is better then none at all right? I think I posted this topic as more of a goof, but people on this site have been cool enough to humor me, and shout out their seasoned opinions on strain type. I am really getting into photographing herb, macro photography is awesome!

  12. damn man that smell of lemon and gasoline is EXACTLY what i'm smelling from my jar of nugs! i got an eighth from a friend of mine and this stuff is BOMB! could it be the same stuff?
really... aromatic lol. you said it tastes like lemons and gasoline, and that's the best way to describe it for sure. and it's really iritating to the nostrils when you breathe it in (i've got a jar of nugs that have been brewing for about a week now. that stuff smells PUGNENT). smoking it is totally different though, the smoke actually tastes pretty nice! it really has a distinct SOUR sort of taste and actually feels sort of good in my lungs, especially after. i rarely get cottonmouth, and if i do i have a sour taste. it goes away with a snack and a drink though...
the high is crazy too, it's stimulating and actually pretty damn intense at times (listening to the right music of course:) .

ps- if any of you have never listened to the song sea to sea by matisyahu... i strongly suggest listening, he's one talented hebrew man.
