  1. Okay, So I'm gonna guess and say I'm about 2 weeks from harvest, And this isnt my first grow.. but this grow is way stinkier. My last grow made it where I couldn't let anyone in the house because the smell was so strong, but this time, I'm extremely paranoid as you can smell it strong outside the house, and I have neighbors, like 20 ft on each side of me. And I live right in the middle of a small town, where houses are close together everywhere, golfcarts and people walking all in front of the house... I admit, I shouldve got a carbon filter when I got the light. But cash has been ultra tight lately, and I didn't expect the super skunks to do this to me.

So now you know my problem, I need some sortve cheap idea to help dull the smell down some, a little, any thing will help.. The grow room is in a back rooms closet, I will be taping all cracks in the walls and holes and the hole nine yards tomorrow and try to make it somewhat more air tight, I also noticed the smell almost being vauumed out the dryer duct when I was outside, is there anything I can do to help this? You can see my grow for more details in the signature, but basically there in a small closet with the door open and fans blowing in, and a small fan on top blowing air out..I know this is a NEWB question, but I just didnt expect these to be so strong, this is some of the strongest smelling herb ive grown here... DEFINITLEY will have a carbon filter next grow...

  2. Simple, get ona gel! I had the same problem and this 10$ bottle has worked magic!! I have ppl over in my living room and they have no idea... Now if I didn't have that, my neighbors would of already caught on.

  3. ona gel, in a 5 gallon bucket, with a fan pulling air from it. there's a guide to make one on grasscity.

  4. Can't even smell it inside the grow room no more. That's how good this bottle of ona is I got

  5. Try the ONA bucket method here:

  7. Or get a shit ton of air fresheners

  8. Ona for now, but really, get that carbon filter.

  9. Thanks for the help guys.. According to my search wal mart or nothing local sales this ona gel.. And there isnt any hydro shops within an hour from here... Is there anywhere i can order it cheap and have it over nighted... I needed this stuff like 2 weeks ago...

i love the city.... Thanks guys

  10. And next grow, pick something with an "air freshener" scent- lemon, pine, fruity, etc! Much easier to explain away or hide than "dead skunk"! nd Glade has motion-sensing air fresheners- one with a matching scent should be near your grow!

  11. Air fresheners don't work as they only mask the smell. Ona is the opposite of stink and try eliminate eachother, long story short.

  12. And, are the air fresheners okay to be breathed in by your plant?

  13. Ah man, you made me laugh so hard when i read the title. Hope you get it sorted. If it was me, id get that carbon filter. Stop eating and smoking till you can afford it. Being hungry at home is much better than being hungry down the police station. ;)

  14. lmao@Goof

  15. You could always cook some bacon

  16. Yeah man look on here you can make a carbon filter for $15 you'll spend 40 just to get the smallest container of ona overnighted to you

  17. Bookmarked. Never heard of this ona shit. Gonna have to look into it.

You could always post a sign in front of your neighbors house that says "caution: slow down, skunks present." Would throw some people the fuck off and confuse your neighborhood too!

  18. Just spend the 30 bucks to make a good carbon filter

  19. Hi..
Here is a link to the DIY forum for making carbon filters. http://forum.grasscity.com/do-yourself/569506-diy-carbon-filter-compendium.html

I've made one and it's really easy. I don't need to worry about smell, since my closest neighbor knows I grow, but he can always tell when I'm close to harvest time.

    Good Luck!
