On February 1st I decided that I was going to put in a lot of effort to lose weight. For the first time since then I tried on the pants I was wearing before It feels pretty good, but I still am 20 lbs away from my final goal.
Great job man. A couple years ago i lost 40 pounds and have managed to keep 30-35 off. Sometimes i get lazy and party a bit too much which leads to a fluctuation in weight of course. How much have you lost so far?
Those pants are only like 4 inches too big.. That's no 55 lbs worth. Unless you bought these half way through the weight loss? Contests tho man never go back to that old lifestyle
Oh ok, well done. Pictures can be misleading. Care to share what sort of lifestyle changes helped you achieve such good results?
Quiting smoking cigs was by far the most impactful change. But I also have not had a soda or any form of sugary drink since I started dieting. Going to the gym as much as possible, playing lacrosse anything to get out and moving for an hour or two every day. No fast food of any kind either. That was probably the second most important decision behind the cigs. Ill have chick fil a maybe once a month but thats it.
Excellent job, OP, I myself have lost close to 85lbs in a little over two years. It all started when I got my med card and I haven't looked back since. I was able to succesfully break the hold of cigarettes, alcohol and snacks/sugar. The key, is to stick to low glycemic foods, stay away from anything sweet, even sugar free has toxins. Keep up the good work.
Good job OP. I too, was overweight and realized I needed a lifestyle change. You have a before picture?
Great job man I'm trying to quite cigarettes too its f******* hard!! Cutting out sugary drinks (including juice unless its real fruit and small serving) can help you save a lot of caloric intake a day. Protein, vegetables and salad, and lean meat; stick with those three and you'll lose weight in no time. Hitting the gym will only speed things up and add definition =D
