I have a grow room with 5 600w lights and this is the 2nd round where EVERYTHING in the room is covered with a sticky layer. The light hoods, the filter on the outside of the carbon filter, the walls, the floor, the light timers, the ducting. I know sticky buds are a really good thing, but this seems a bit excessive. Does anyone have this or know why this is or if it's a good thing? Here's some info that might be of use: 5 8" reflector hoods in one line of ducting 2 8" exhaust fans -- 750cfm each. One just after the carbon filter to draw air from the room, and the other just after the last reflector hood to boost air flow. Lots of white flies Super crystally BlackBerry Kush ~45% humidity ~78ºF Thanks!
u should completely clean and wipe down everything u can in the grow area between grows...never heard of what ur saying but i disinfect almost everything between grows...just to be safe...
If you have a pocket microscope, a jeweler's loupe or a decent macro setting on your camera, see if you can get a good close up view of the sticky icky that is covering every surface of your grow space. I can't imagine you are going to find dankity trichomes ambering out on your walls, but once you see it up close, you may be able to find some images on the net that match up, some pictures of mold, fungus or mildew, perhaps.
Uhhh... I'm not really sure why you would be worried about the sticky layers on the walls when you have flies in your grow.I would handle THAT problem first, it seems WAY worse!
