My Turn!!!

  1. Well Thursday was my hubby's B-day (he turned 27) and he's been on this nostalgia kick the last year or so... all he's wanted for the last 2 b-days, and past Christmas is all the old toys he never got as a kid, or the ones he really loved, so I got him a Super NES (to go along with his original NES, his Genesis, PS2, X-Box, and NES 64... I hope he's done!) And a few games, Mario World, Street Fighter 2, Star fox, and Mortal Combat 3... When I was a kid we had the Super NES... it was the only one we had and it was used, cause we was poor, but we had Mario world and my brother and I would spend hours upon hours playing that game... so I let him play his games and what not, and I don't typically play with him because he's so good at the games that I feel stupid and just don't want to play anymore... I get frustrated, and then he tries to tell me how to beat it, and I get mad, cause I want to figure it out on my own...anyways.. To make a short story longer...He never played Mario world when he had it, he said he tried it once and didn't like it, but now he really wanted to play it with me. I hadn't played Mario since I was like 15, but some how once I started playing I just "knew" what to do and where all the special stuff was... now he won't play with me because he feels like he doesn't know anything about the game and I always do and I get us past all the boards... anyways, all this was just so I can say it feels good to be on THIS end of the spectrum... :hello:
