I just got back from Lowes and purchased a 150 watt hps bulb and a metal hood to go along w/ it. Well come to find out the damn bulb does not work for it! After that I read the directions and found out that the bulb only works for s55 ballast. What the hell, The harder I try the more I fu** up.You guys now how much does a s55 ballast cost?
around $100 I guess. If you had been reading these posts, you would have seen numerous posts where we tell the newbies that you can't just go screwing a HPS bulb in a regular light socket. Take it back to lowes with the receipt and get your cash back. try you some fluoro's that are plug in and ready to go.
